Intangible Cultural Heritage: Tai O Field Trip and Dragon Boat Water Parade Workshop (2)

Tai O was once a seaside town integrating fishing, salt production, commerce, and agriculture. It still retains a unique community culture and historical relics. The local "Tai O Dragon Boat Water Parade" is a national intangible cultural heritage item.
This Tai O field trip and dragon boat paddling workshop aims to allow participants to understand Tai O's history, culture, and society, and to experience firsthand the activities of this national intangible cultural heritage.

(Meet at Tung Chung Station at 9:50am and take the coach to Tai O. Return to Tung Chung Station at 4:30pm and dismiss.)

Remarks:
The dragon boat paddling workshop is open to both men and women, but participants must be able to swim 50 meters or more to be suitable for the activity. Life jackets must be worn during the activity.
Please wear sportswear, and bring your own sunblock product and rain gear. Paddling workshop participants should also bring their own body wash, towels, and slippers.
