There are eighteen village clusters in the Clear Water Bay Peninsula in Sai Kung forming the Hang Hau District, which has native, Hakka, and fisherman communities. The Hakka immigrants have been settled in the coastal flatland and river valleys for almost 300 years. They brought with them their traditional unicorn dance and would perform the dance during temple festivals, wedding ceremonies, and the enlightening rituals of the new houses and ancestral halls. These fieldtrips aim to introduce the participants the heritage and history of Hakka Unicorn Dance in Hang Hau district.
